Mission Statement of SARPS
The South Asian Regional Pain Society (SARPS) supports its member countries to make effective, accessible, affordable, and ethical care available to those suffering from pain conditions in the region.
Goals of SARPS

To organize regular scientific meetings so that pain physicians, researchers, and opinion leaders in South Asian countries can exchange views, information, and experiences

To make significant contributions to fulfill the national and regional needs

for structured training and teaching programs in the field of pain medicine

To fulfill the regional need to produce trained pain physicians and allied health professionals

To promote meaningful research in the field of pain medicine

To help member countries to provide quality and safe care through continuing professional education (CPE) for service providers at the national and regional levels

To liaise and bring together different international bodies working in the field of health care
